Work at the Scottish Agriculture College, under the supervision of Dr Tom Acamovic and Dr Jill Offer of the Avian Science Research Centre, shed new light on the energy effects of Optivite’s naturally derived feed treatment. True Metabolisable Energy studies on broilers fed maize based feeds showed that 4 kg of Genex Poultry improved the Metabolisable Energy by 0.65 Mj/kg or 155 kCal/kg. >>
